Dr. Alan Knott is the Director of Operations at Animal Care Hospital of Clifton Park. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery and has experience working with a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, cows, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, alpacas and even an elephant! Dr. Knott truly loves spending time with people; fostering the human-animal bond with exceptional customer service and high quality animal care. Dr. Alan Knott was born and raised in Ohio and spent his entire collegiate career at The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture in 2002 and his Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Dr. Knott is a Buckeye through and through and is passionate about Ohio State Football. Dr. Knott enjoys spending time with his wife and two small children and enjoys distance running, having completed several marathons.
Dr. Lisa Knott is the Medical Director at Animal Care Hospital of Clifton Park. She enjoys all aspects of companion animal veterinary medicine and surgery with a special interest in dentistry and dermatology. Dr. Lisa Knott grew up in nearby Burnt Hills. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2002 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2006. Dr. Lisa Knott, along with her husband, Dr. Alan Knott, lived and worked in Northeast Ohio for nine years before returning home to the capital district to bring their passion for caring for animals and their owners to Clifton Park. Dr. Knott enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children as well as running and gardening in her spare time.
Dr. Megan Skeffington is excited to join Animal Care Hospital of Clifton Park as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Skeffington loves all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and endocrinology. She is very passionate about the human-animal bond and helping make sure pets are healthy, happy members of your family for as long as possible. Dr. Skeffington was born and raised in Eastern Iowa and attended Iowa State University majoring in Animal Science and receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She and her husband moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the Capital Region in 2010 and enjoy travelling, hiking, and camping with their two Brittanys.
